If you stand on the west side of Elizabeth Street in Melbourne, opposite the old GPO and look south towards Flinders Street Station and look up, you can still see what remains of the 2 story high ghost sign cat on the side of the art deco Beehive Building.  This illustration is what the full 1956 sign looked like before it was painted out in what was likely the mid 1980's.  It was known as the Mazda Cat because it was an advertisement for Mazda Lamps or Light Globes that were first made by Thomas Edison's General Electric Company in the States in the early 1900s.

    • This design is printed on premium grade Ilford 180 gsm matte paper with commercial grade pigment inks.
    • The total print size as specified in the product listing includes the shown border around the design as part of the finished image. Please note, the width of the border on each design varies with each print size.
    • All images shown on this site are for illustrative purposes only, and frames are not supplied with product orders.

    2. Delivery Information

    All products purchased will be shipped with a tracking number within 3-5 business days through Australia Post. 

    Prints or stationery items that are A4 size or less will be supplied carefully packaged and sent in a flat pack.  Larger size prints will be rolled up in a protective layer of paper and packaged and sent in heavy gauge postage tubes.

    You will receive an email confirmation once your order is confirmed on our website, and then a further email with a trackable shipping number once the order has been posted.

    Depending on where you live, the time it may take to receive your order may vary. 

    Please note once orders are despatched with a tracking number, they can no longer be redirected, cancelled or refunded due to delivery delays outside of our control.

    We will replace items if they are damaged in transit, or upon confirmation they have been lost in transit by the carrier.
    3. Postage & Shipping Costs

    Australia-wide postage and shipping 

    For all orders for delivery within Australia under $20.00, a flat postage rate of $10.00 AUD applies.

    For all orders for delivery within Australia over $20.00, a flat postage rate of $15.00 AUD applies.

    International postage and shipping

    For all international orders, a flat rate of $25.00 AUD applies*.

    *International customers are responsible for any extra custom fees/duties/taxes.  Please ensure you are aware of your country’s import regulations before making a purchase.  Items will be shipped after payment has been received.
